Hopefully the Equine council will step up to lend man-hours for ongoing maintenance and mapping since that was directly asked for. If DCNR can't do it, the volunteer groups need to step up and since it was a specific request from a specific group I would see it as fitting for that group to do the required work and put up the required monies for the project. FWIW, I'm guessing 'Friends of Weiser' is similar in concept to 'Friends of Wissahickon' in Philly.
